WHO CAN PRACTICE IT?

Pilates can be practiced by anyone from the age of 12. The exercises are tailored for each student according to their age and physical condition, by respecting their limitations, improving their abilities and developing new skills to achieve their goals.

 

PHYSICAL CONDITIONING

The combination of working on strength and flexibility alleviates the discomfort caused by the hours spent sitting in the car or in front of the computer, which harm posture and aggravate the state of tension and stress of the whole body. Working on your breathing in a proper and conscious way will help combat physical and mental fatigue by providing more energy to the entire body. Whether before or after work, Pilates provides a pleasant feeling of lightness and vitality while performing our tasks with minimal effort and maximum pleasure.

PRE- AND POST-PARTUM

Pilates will connect you in a more conscious way to the changes that occur at each stage of pregnancy. Improves circulation, relieves swelling and discomfort in the legs as well as strengthens the deep musculature of the trunk and pelvic region, reducing the burden on the joints and spine associated mainly to the last trimester of pregnancy.

With the approval and supervision of your physician, we have developed a training program to regain abdominal strength helping to reduce the chances of Recti Dystopia (abdominal separation) occurring as a result of increased abdominal volume. In a few months you will regain strength and fitness feeling ready to enjoy this new stage with your baby with more energy and a better mood.

REHABILITATION

Pilates focuses on body realignment by reducing muscle imbalances and increasing the efficiency of each movement. In this case, the individual sessions are the most suitable, allowing to develop a customized program to strengthen and mobilize the area of injury, while reducing or even eliminating the remaining pain.
